Unfortunately I was not able to get there for the first bout between PCRD Lightning and The Bay Rollers. However, I did manage to watch the last jams of that bout. It was a nail biter of a finish with only a few points between them. PCRD finished strong and come out ahead at the end.

The second bout had the PCRD All Stars going head to head with Sun State Roller Girls Swarm. This bout was filled with action in every Jam and a great crowd. We also had the pleasure of Honest Dave and Johnny Smash calling the bouts as brilliantly as ever. In the end Sun State took the honours. The image from this bout are all posted up on the website, go take a look -

To Open the Season Last Sunday was the third round of Open Season. The Friday night before we had huge down pour. I wasn't sure if it would affect bout day. There was a clean up in the morning and all went ahead with a slight delay. The was Five bouts at Southpine Sports Complex with SSRG Rumble Bees having a bye. First bout was a match up between the north and the west - CARD Blood Diamonds and BCR Schadenfräuleins. Check out bout 1 images if you get the chance. Viewing them on a big screen is the best way to see them.

0S0A00220S0A0022 Bout two again saw the north battle the west. This time it was NBR Phoenix taking on BCR Bomb Squad.

The action was great for all the bouts and awesome team uniforms from flouro green to hot pink.

Next round is on 30th May at Morayfield Leisure Park. First bout will be BCR Bomb Squad and East Coast Derby Dolls.

See you around the flat track.
